Dee’s FoodService has its roots all the way back to 1973 when the Mager family founded Dee's Cheesecake Factory , a wholesale bakery and restaurant. Over the years, Dee’s Cheesecake Factory diversified and expanded into the food service distribution business. In 1990, Dee’s FoodService constructed a new three-temperature high-cube distribution center capable of accommodating over 2000 pallets of dry, refrigerated and frozen product.

Today, Dee’s FoodService is a full-line food service distributor and New Mexico’s premier Center-Of-The-Plate purveyor. Dee’s is a member shareholder in UniPro Foodservice, Inc., the leading foodservice buying group comprised of 300 distributor members with a collective sales volume of over $31 billion. The buying power of UniPro enables Dee’s FoodService to “compete and beat” the competition. Dee’s has the exclusive rights to market products under the CODE® label and provides approximately 6500 brand name and private label items to over 1000 restaurants, supermarkets and institutions in New Mexico and West Texas. In 1987, Dee’s FoodService was granted the exclusive license to distribute Certified Angus Beef® products in New Mexico. As such, it is one of only 100 distributors in the United States licensed to distribute the highest quality, top branded beef in the world.
